Bon Voyage!

Due to weather again, we have been delayed here in Fort Lauderdale, and another big thanks to Mike and Pam for their hospitality. We were lucky to be able to celebrate Pam’s birthday with her, but we are leaving early on my Mom’s birthday and so tonight we wished her an early Happy Birthday!

Bright and early in the morning on the heals of tropical storm Andrea, we will be setting off for the Bahamas. The excitement is enchanting. Along with the allure of a beautiful tropical beach. We picked up Captain Mark today so we are ready.

I just want to say that if you don’t see any more posts after this one, well the trip probably didn’t go as planned, however, the journey has been grand.  Otherwise, in the next post I will be sharing some of our dream come true stuff. This is what we have worked for, saved for, planned for, and studied for. A cruising lifestyle. Our cruising lifestyle. Which officially starts tomorrow. Okay, maybe it had officially started before this, but it just didn’t seem like it. If you know what I mean.

Anyway, wish us luck, and I can’t wait to share with you the details of our trip.

  2. YEAH BOY! Bon Voyage! Be safe y’all. Live the dream! I am very happy for you. I’m looking forward to seeing pictures and hearing of your adventure. Did you ever get that HF radio? If and when you do.. lets get a some sort of a schedule and maybe make contact! Have fun.

    • Thanks much Fred. We do have a HF radio on board, but we don’t have the ships license and/ or the knowledge to use it. That is a high piority though, so hopefully we will make that contact soon.

Watchya got to say about that?
